The Sprites

This is how imagine an average sprite at the moment.

I also think this could be a nice place to post brain storms about Sprites.

I like the pic, but the clothing style isn't quite right. Sprites dress in a very Italian/Spanish manner - big, wide-brimmed floppy hats with ridiculous feathers, baggy trousers with boots, buckles...lots of buckles, loose, baggy-sleeved shirts with lacings at the front and (of course) a wineskin.

Sprites are expert sailors and navigators. Their ships are the fastest and most seaworthy in Elberen, and boast fanciful designs with brightly colored sails that often look like dragonfly or butterfly wings. Despite their delicate appearance, however, Spriteships are devastatingly effective in battle due to a secret, highly-flammable concoction that the Sprites produce. This substance (which the Sprites call 'bluefire') will continue to burn even after being doused with water.

The Sprites are also masters of fencing, using their small stature and speed to keep their larger opponents off balance. Despite this, however, most Sprites prefer to talk their way out of conflict, relying on their quick wits and undeniable charm (especially with the ladies!).

And lastly, all Sprites have iridescent, jewel-hued eyes without pupils.

Physically what do they look like?

They look like short, slender (NOT chubby!) humanoids with very thin pointed ears that arch back from their heads (though they are often obscured by the big hats the Sprites are so fond of). They stand between 3 1/2 to 4 feet tall. They are usually clean shaven (save for their heads, of course) and have delicately arched eyebrows. Also, they do NOT have furry feet.

Their hair color tends to the same coloration as the humans, however, the Sprites are quite fond of dying their hair in brilliant reds, blues, greens, purple and everything in between. Their jewel-hued eyes are similar in color.

I like to imagine them getting rather angry when something is mentioned about their size haha.

Ohhhh yes...to mention a Sprite's size or their lack of wings in a derogatory manner is a very serious affront to their honor, and will almost certainly earn one a duel to the death.

Also, disrespect to a female is not wise when a Sprite is near.

I assume they out of all races, get along with the Trall the best?
