CONCEPT ART!

This is the first bit that guy has sent me for Trall concept art, now listen before you comment, he says he has some more humanoid ones lying around as well. I still enjoy this concept he drew up, but it may be a bit to beastly...I love the hair and ears still.

I like his style, but yeah, too "beastie" -

The bottom right one is getting pretty close to my image...save the snout.

It's not how I envision the Trall, honestly...but hey, if it works for you, go with it.

It's not quite my vision...I have some beef with the snout. But as he said he has some humanoid ones.

They look too much like werewolves. My original concept of the Trall were brutish-looking, underground dwelling, TROLL-like giants. Not slender, but *thick*, with stone-colored skin.

But some of Grond's actions would be impossible if he where an cave troll bassicly.

How so?

Sliding under opponent's legs, climbing the greenhouse pillar, jumping around like beast from the bloody x-men, thats to name a few.

I disagree. First off, sliding under a Vhorn's legs is easy because they are bigger than you. Secondly, just because they are big and bulky does not mean they are clumsy. Apes are big, yet can climb quite easily with much agility.

Oh ho ho! I never said the trall where not big and bulky, they aren't bloody na'vi haha. I am saying just not as "blocky" their form looking a bit more like this (form not appearance even though this is fairly close, save the huge mouth and bad teeth)

I likes it.

I do enjoy that picture a great lot as well, transfer it to a realistic creature with correct preportions and I think it's a good Trall, it looks agile enough to preform impressive tasks, yet large enough to rip you and all your buddies in half!

As for the picture itself, it could be a sprite's fight with one of the savage and feral Trall that lived in Elberen before they where "enlightened" by the Elden empire.

I'd say that's a pretty close approximation. The wings bug me, though...lol.

Yes of course but it could be an artistic interpretation haha.

Ok, we'll go with that.

But my favorite Grond picture is still my avatar haha, it captures how I imagine Trall AND Grond's remarkable sense of fashion for 7'9 monster that smokes cigars and can consume kegs of human brew.
